That would be exciting, waiting to see just how far that boat was going to slide. As an afterthought, were the phrases "hold me beer" and/or "watch this sheee" used in that process??

I'm discounting the Maachuu story. This was his first meet and greet with a MS OT C.Cer. I'm betting he was putting his best foot forward and in time, he'll turn out to be just as gewberish as the rest of ya.

Actually a goggle eye is a Warmouth and a shellcracker is a Red Ear Sunfish.....some folks call the shellcrackers strawberry bream.....we have a lot of them here.

    Day 5:
Welp, its the last day of my nightmare and you know they say its worse just before you wake up? Well it's true. Get up Saturday mornin and decide it's Dry Creek where we goin. It's bout 33 degrees and so foggy you cant see your own boat lights nor the bouy markers in the channel. Well if youre guessin I hit one of them bigantious red markers that sit on the edge of the channel, youre right again. Lemme back up and say this. My brother wanted to put in at Yellow Creek and run up to Dry Creek so we could use the GPS track that we had made on day 3. I tolt him he was crazy, it was way to fer to be running in the fog and too cold. We could save prolly 2 miles by puttin in at Pickwick State Park Landing. Well lemme tell ya, ifn you running 10-12 mph and watchin yo GPS, you cant get the boat turned quick enuff when you first mate hollers sheeeeeeeeeit, waaaaatcccccchhhhhhh oooouuuuutttt. By the time I looked up and swerved, we hit that bigggasssterous red marker. I got lucky, I guess, and gotter turned just enuff to miss the point of the boat and hit her with the corner. It hit hard enuff that it jarred GG3's teefs in his cup back home. scared the wheels off of us. I slowed down and determined we were not takin on water and decided to ease on. It took us an hour to run about 4 miles. Lesson #1: Ifn you have a GPS track and aint hit nuttin while makin that track, use the dang thang.

Well we finally get to where we had caught fesh on day 3 and man it was cold. We got the rods out and promptly started ketchin white bass, prolly 74 of em, catfesh and breams. Not the first crappie. We tried shallow, deep and every where in between. It was useless. I wanted to leave adder about 2 hours, but we didnt. We finally decided to head back to #1 spot and check it one last time. #1 turned out to be a bust just as the rest of our tourney. We caught 1 keeper dink on day 2 and was at home before the weigh-in was over. Pffffft

Prolly the only good thang about this tourney was, well there was two good thangs. One was the accomodations at Rose Trail. I would highly recommend stayin here. Give Jackie a call. Shes crazy, but a good host and the rooms are clean. The second thing, is that one of them fancy Semi Pro boys that is sponsered by Southern Pro, came up to me adder day one and wanted to know ifn I had some more tubes that he had caught em on. Now, this is a good ol boy and all, so I give him all that I had left cause he was in a position to get a check. And he did get a check. Point being, this feller knows who he is, will prolly read this and had better send me a grocery sack full of Southern Pro Tubes. You know what color I like and ifn you dont, I'll include this with my address. PM me and I'll send you my address ol' buddy. All in all we had a terrible time. Even gettin to meet the great Maachuu couldn't over come the tradgedy of this trip.

WB, I feel yo pain buddy. I will try to be more considerate of you from now on.
