I've got the Ego Reach and love it. Had a regular net prior and had to cut several hooks off. It might be worth waiting on Ego's new net with the push button but Ego it is.

No idea, haven't been over there and looked. I know I regret leaving that net on the pier at Lake Ross barnett in mize that morning. Went back a couple hours later and it was gone

I meet up with crappiepro on lake conway last night. he had a very neat homemade net. he took a short handle cheap net and bought a Telescoping Extension paint Pole. He put the net on the end of the pole and used some self tapping screws to hold it together. It looked strong and had a good reach on it.
That thing would be pretty heavy I would think
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

Scott's EGO came in and we have used it twice now. It is light weight both in weight and what you can dip with it in my way of thinking. But man it so much lighter and better than the other rubber net he had, it weighted a lot, felt like 20 lbs. So far we have not stuck a hook in the net itself, pulling CB's, but the hooks do get caught in the holes in the net so you will be un-hooking your plug from the net after each fish. Have not yet used it with jigs.
