    Thanks Minner, I am trying to get away from the weight when extended because that is what I already have with the cabelas rubber net and handle, I did see then new handle setup that slides with the push of a button but ifn its heavier, then I dont want it for sure

    You may love it but I don't. And I know everybody says get the rubber net, but I feel the rubber net is why this new setup is so heavy. I got the nylon net and sprayed a rubber coating on it and it does just fine.

    I have the all rubber net on the old set up and its just fine.
    I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

    I have ordered the new S2 Slider with the coated net. It is a lot lighter. Ego has sent me 2 S1's to give away at the Barnett camp and both have the coated net. The handle is a little weak but should work get with a partner in the boat.
