Came home to my Mom's house (where I've spent every night since July 19th) and found this.........
Door kicked in, house ransacked...... not a great feeling. They took cash, coins and my Dad's (deceased) billfold. At least that's all I know about so far. It's hard to "see" all the missing things when you are sorta in shock.
They hit between the time I left the house at 7:15 a.m. and noon. Neighbors next road over had thousands of dollars of stuff taken. The perps were spotted in a nice shiny new white car....... two white dudes. And they had some "friends" in an older model gray car playing lookout for them on the other gravel road. We've had a series of these breakins in our county and neighboring counties all with the same M.O. They steal only flat screen TV's larger than 42", and electronics, computers, laptops, Wii's, and arrowhead collections, etc. My poor folks had 5 analog tv's and nothing else on their "wish list". They went through EVERYTHING!!!!![]()

Dang CN. I sure hate to hear it. That is a mighty distinctive shoe print left on the door though.

My heart was beating about 9000 beats per minute when I saw that. Shame I didn't find them IN the house. Sheriff said it would have been lots easier for him to solve the murder than the break-in.
Yeah, G, then after the law left I had to call the credit card company, bank, etc. and then the fun call. Try telling your Mom (in the nursinghome) that her house has just been ransacked. Thankfully she wasn't at home because it could have turned out much worse.
The Sheriff's wife (coworker) called me at 3 p.m. and told me to be sure to go down there in the daylight as there was a robbery just across the hill on the next gravel road. SHe knows I spend the night there every night. So I headed home early and found that. I live next door and thankfully they skipped our house at least yesterday.
I hate if for you CN. There is nothing lower in my book than a thief.

Sorry for your troubles CN. If you catch 'em, meet me over at Billbob's house with 'em hog tied. We could teach them boys some manners.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
VERY sorry to hear that Pat, hope they catch the dirt bags responsible.
IF I catch them, they won't have any trouble with them. Seeing as how I'm a woman and they are men breaking into my house, I am going to feel very threatened for my safety therefore requiring that I unload my .38 into both of them until it's time for a reload. At that point, I'll see if reloading is necessary.
Hate to hear that CN. Seems to be getting real common all over the place. My sister's garage was broken into and her husband's tools were taken, even a table saw, and happened during the day. They came back the next night and tried again but got ran off. Makes one think this economy and hard times are bringing them out in high numbers. They need to be shot at, hit, or missed, to get it stopped.![]()
