Well I couldn't...
Well I couldn't even get a Wannabe limit on Saturday.... Lost one fish at the boat... I got skunked for the first time in a long time! Darn fish on the Rez have moved north for sure. I found heavy concentrations of bait fish around the Welfare hole. There was spider riggers from 3 prong to the 43 bridge. In fact, there was 5 boats under the 43 bridge.
Guess I am going to have to put up my cranking stuff and try spider rigging for the first time... Anybody else try the rez this weekend?

Haha... Yep.. I was the only one pulling cranks but didn't see many spider riggers catching anything either. Hope they did better than me...
Was you pulling cranks major? That stinks man... I am not real sure how deep the crappie are right now but I believe they are pretty shallow. The shad were all around 7 feet deep.

Cranks on Thu, minnows on Fri. Nothing either way. Spiderriged the channel on both sides of the 43 bridge where I had caught plenty of fish in the past but no luck Fri. FF showed plenty of fish from 8' to 24' deep.

Caught 10 throwbacks spider rigging. Fished above 43 jigging with a big O. Fished the channel from Round Lake to the S curve and caught dinks. Talked to a buddy that fished below Saddle Bags and he caught 2. We gotta have some steady weather. The fish are there but have lock jaw. What DD and Tman do? I guess we will hear a report from Wannabe this afternoon.

Ya'll stay away from MY BRIDGE now. LOL 00G, ya shoulda come on down and got some of the BBQ I cooked. Had enough for 75 people and only 35 showd up. I still got over a gallon bag of pulled pork and almost that much briskett left over
