    I thought is was the crappie hanging out on corners and drinking 40's
    [SIGPIC]Drake Waterfowl Prostaff, Dakota Decoys Prostaff,F&F Boats, Mercury Marine, Rig Em Right, Crappie Logic Jigs, Slab Bandits, Hayes Calls, and Kick's Choke Tubes.

    You will start seeing eggs in females from now until the spawn starts. When you start seeing blood in the eggs, they are getting ready to spawn. They gray matter you see is as Mr. Jim and DD said- just plain old fat. Thet're getting ready for cold weather and putting on a few extra love ounces.
