Hey guys, Just heard the news about closing. I am so sick about this. this is one of the nicest parks around. Anyway, I don't know if this will help ..... but I got some info.. Try calling Mississippi Dept of Wild Life, Fisheries and Parks 1-662-432-2231 and speak with Paul Collins or Ramie Ford. Maybe we can get something done about this.......it's worth a try ........

just tried that number, got a recording that it a Cell South # and they arn't taking calls at this time.

Why not close the smaller state parks that don't have large empounds. COE pays for keeping up other parks on Cossar.
