Takes a lot of gas to run that boat that far, and then, back to the ramp again to get your gear.:D:D But I really shouldn't be gigging anyone about anything after my fo paux.:o

Thats why 4 strokes are so nice....they do not use much gas...mine dosen't anyway.

FYI DD, I had cranks in the boat but not the ones that Torch wanted to pull! so PFfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffttttttttt t!

we only got to the mouth of Bean Creek so it didnt take long to go back.

It was a rough weekend for some of us :

Satdoc's batteries wires were loose and his H'Bird wouldn't work

My batteries went dead on my truck at BigBlues cabin ( Thanks Tushog & Blue for the help and chargers)

Blue lost his truck keys (in the Truck) the batteries died on the Rat Patrol machine and something must have been wrong with his boat because it never left the cabin all weekend !!!

And... I lost my transom saver in the lake

I am skeered to ask how ES lost his transom saver in the lake

G3, you don't even want to know about that one.:D I get a call on my way to fall camp, asking for a new transom saver.
