    Default Rasly frackon wind

Just looked ahead to the weekend and the wind
Saturday 8-10 steady out of NE with 16 MPH gusts
Sunday 6-8 out of ESE with 12 MPH gusts (best day of the weekend)
monday 8-10 out of SE with 15 MPH gusts
just remember you add 5 to 10 MPH on the lake so it still ain;t gonna be flat out there
Heck, I might even try Eagle or Chotard, been awhile

Default You heard anything much on Chotard Triton?

Here's the latest report and it sounds pretty good

Crappie are biting right now. The river dropped out and fishing has really gotten good. Try trolling jigs in 8-10 of water. Also try around some of the treetops in medium and deep water with minnows and jigs.
Looked at Eagle to and they're talking about the vegitation being really bad this year. Sounds like Chotard will be my destination of choice. I really don;t mind the gar on occasion, they're fun to catch and most times will get off before they get to the boat

    Default Confirmed with Wifey

We're going to Chotard bout daylight. Gonna take spider rigging stuff AND cranking poles. We actually wore them out last year about this time pulling cranks. Think we ended up with mid 20's for numbers and all we're a lb to a lb n a half.
