Somebody posted it here. When you fillet the crappie, just leave it on the skin, scales and all. Put butter and lemon pepper and throw on the grill. Cook without turning. No problems with it falling appart. Better than baked to me. The meat was firmer and not basically boiled in butter like baking.
Wasn't fried, but bout as good as non-fried fish gets for me.
