Just got word from the camp host at Enid, Seems like the COE has struck as of this mornin the Gates are WIDE OPEN and they are droppin the lake as much as a foot a day. Looks like Fall camp will be on a really low lake and we wont be able to put in at the state park ramp.

You guys fishing the rez, good luck pulling. I tried it today from 8 til 1 & had 4 cats to show for it. I think single poling or slow spider rigging would be the way to go right now.

The next ramp will probably be Longbranch. They have a ditch cut from the ramp to the main lake for low water use. I thonk the COE is kinda jumping the gun on dropping the water this fast and early.

My guess is that you wont be hard to see or identify on the lake with it deployed!

Usually, Wallace Creek and Persimmon Hill are launchable in low water conditions
