I didn't say they wouldn't work....I just don't like the odd feel they put on me during the fall and they're somewhat unpredictable on the fall in cover. Makes for extra hangups.

I personally like the lightest jig head i can get away with single pole. But I gotta get a front trollin rig set up too. I've always liked the sassy shad and live minners for trollin. Thanks for all the input fellas just tryin to broaden my comfort zone with some new baits

Don't waste your money on Bobby Garland Strollers either. You'll hate them for pushing around with a trolling rig. It'll slap ruin a peaceful afternoon on the water and who would want that?
