    For those having problems w/ sticking line counters, try some powdered graphite lubricant. Someone suggested that to me a couple of years ago and it has really helped, here is a link but you can get it at any hardware store.

    DO NOT PUT WD40 or other type lubricants on the plastic parts. Powdered graphite works well.

    Blakemore Reel and Line Magic is made to use on the line as well as the reel...it will not hurt plastic parts. I wet my reels down good all the time with it....it keeps everything working good and also helps with line memory and kinks. My Okumas work great after using this product.

    0ut of the 10 crank rods I have 8 are runnin Diawas and 2 with Okumas. No problems with mine but the Okumas have a bad habbit of not reseting and not counting when I start letting them back out.
