Thread: Qualifiers for Championship

I am through talking about it Yikes its done and thats that.

I have remained silent.

I am about ready to pull out and let ya'll have it. This thing worked on a democracy and you are the only ones that had a problem. 1 out of 10 is 10% and the other 90% have it.

Hold up now. I was just on the phone with Speck talking about it. No, we didn't come eye to eye on this, but I think he feels the same way as I do over it - The last thing I want is a big dang blow up over all this. The pot for the championship is less than 1K. There's not a fella on this board that wouldn't bend over backwards for someone that needed 1K and more than one that would give another a full 1K just for the asking. Let's keep all this in perspective.

That said - the interpretation has been made. That's the way it's going to be. All 10 are qualified and they can fish with whoever they want. If it had cut the other way, the same 10 boats would still have qualified (I think that's right) only about half of 'em would be forced to fish by themselves. With a 7 fish limit, that's not much of a handicap if you ask me. There will be no ringers in the championship. The rules would allow it, yeah, but everybody knows that's not right and I trust everybody to do the right thing.

I enjoy fishing the FJs and even don't mind putting up with the crap that goes along with it because it's worth it to me to get to know everybody and compete against ya'll. We keep going down this road and this thing is gonna blow up and be done. Is this hill worth fighting for? I don't think so.

Well said WB! I just like to fish, and if we can add a little fun and competition to it..even better. Now ya'll hush and let's just go fishing. I will warn ya'll tho, the only reason I have not placed is I have been sand bagging you for the champeenship so you better get in some practice time.
