    Default Crank Pullin Rod??

Just wondering who makes a good 10' rod stiff enough for pullin cranks? I just went to BPS to buy 2 10' Tightline Special's but they don't stock them in 10'. I have both the 12' and 14' Tightlines that I use for both Spider rigging and Pulling Cranks but I was wantin to get 2 10' poles to go with them. Any suggestions? Probably gonna order them tonight from Grizzly..

Most of the guys seem to like the B'n'M Pro Trollers. They talked me into getting them and I like them.

Thanks for asking this, I have asked so many questions in the last few days I was beginning feel bad.

We have a local wholesaler that does sell fishing tackle to the public, and I looked at all kinds of jigging poles, but he don't carry trolling poles or any that were stiff enough in my opinion to do what I wanted.

He even had the Shakespeare line counter reels but they were $50 bucks.

    He's checking on the Okumas.

Anyone got a link for the rods yall use?
    It's CRAPPIE season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BnM.com I use 14 12 10 and 8ft pro trollers for pulling cranks. The work really well. You need a pole that will take the shock of the hook set. Alot of poles are too stiff and pull the hooks out of the fish's mouth.

Slimey you may want to go futher from the boat rather than closer. I would go with a 16'er and I would stay with the Tightline Specials. They are alot stiffer than the Pro Trollers.

Wonder why the same rod is so much cheaper from Grizzly instead of straight from B&M? Dang it Torch, I had just convinced myself that I didn't need the 8' ones. Guess it will be 2-8's and 2-10's.

Because B'n'M wants their dealers to sell them. I live about 50 miles from B'n'M Corporate headquarters and I can by else where cheaper than I can there.

I sure do like my Tightline's. I actually thought about the 16's while I was a BPS. Just wondering what the advantage is of being out further from the boat?
