Default enid report for july 4th.............

wind + ski boats + pontoon boats + jet skis + swimmers = tough fishing conditions, lol. that was a VERY tough 5-10 mph? wind out of the ese. went by myself, caught 54 crappie, of which 18 were keepers. as tough as it was, i still enjoyed it, and it was wayyyyy better than staying at home. will try to post pics.

Sounds like you persevered and still did pretty good. Congrats on the catch.

Even with all the commotion it sounds like you did good. I love your avatar pic. Did you pull any cranks to catch some of those fish today?

gab, all were caught pulling cranks. it was very tough to keep the boat in position while going against the wind, and the swells from the boat traffic made it even worse.

actually blue, contrary to what sat just said, all my fish came out of 24+ ft. of water. i caught the biggest ones way out from longbranch in the middle of the lake, toward what i think is called chickasaw landing on the north side. these were anywhere from 27 - 30 ft. of water.
