How much line 20 lb braid do you spect I'd have to have out to get to 12 foot deep at 2 MPH. I haven't been on a lake that doesn't have stumps all over the bottom to try to figure it out yet

When I fished on Dads party barge we always ran the rattle traps with a weight.

with a 1 oz weight to get to 12 feet or so?. I'll just have to look at the line angle to the water and find some flats at Sardis Sunday to verify. Maybe start with 50 feet and go from there
