Thread: Kicker Motors

Mine is actually a Controllking. It came in yesterday and I installed it last night. I will try it out Thursday.

Maj...the way I understand it , its basically a electronic throttle control module that more precisely controlls your idle speeds on a small kicker motor. I think thats whats happening anyway.

Basically it is just a small servo motor that hooks to the throttle assembly with a linkage arm (wire). It allows you to control the speed of the kicker motor more precisely. I have been using a screwdriver to adjust the idle screww and this worked well but I was afraid I was going to eventually take a plunge and get tangled in all the crankbaits.
