Anyone know if those Bouys
all across Ross Barnett and I mean ALL across Barnett are connected to each other with a rope? Guess they are seismic lines or some crap but they are everywhere you go on Barnett. Me and T-Man went to a spot where I been catching a few pulling cranks and had just got setup with the poles out when we saw the first of them. They're in a straight line so we're thinking they are connected but not sure. They could just have a weight on the but surveyed in a straight line. Anyways, they kept us from getting to where I really wanted to hit. Didn't go feshless though, caught one nice one bout 13 1/2 to 14 inches. I did learnt me a lesson yesterday though. Don't paint your trolling plate heavily cause it cakes up on the slot that the pin goes in and locks the plate in the upright position. Somewhere between the ramp and our first spot, the plat slipped down into a down position and locked tight, Needless to say, it bent the crap out of it. We got her working and were under 1.5 MPH. That's according to Tritons cell phone cause I went off and left the 997 laying on the back seat of the truck like a dummy. Had a blast talking crap and dranking a cold one or 12. LOL
