My kicker is mounted a good ways out to the side and I havent had any problems with boat tracking. I have the kicker tied to the big motor so you are using the big motor as a rudder also. My kicker is a short shaft motor on a 20" transom and that dosn't cause any problems either. You can buy a throttle extension handle that way you can get your speed set without having to lean out over the back of the boat to reach the motor. I think they have one that has a universal joint in it so you could actually run it from the sitting position at the console.

And there you have it. Slabo has come down on high with two tablets of trolling commandments.

If your name was DD, I'd suggest rigging your own steering rod with a couple of zerk fittings and a rod. But, you being Torch, I know you don't like your stuff all jacked up.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
