Thats the way the MK anchor system came WB. They recommend using a short chain on the end. I don't go through any either....Thats been working for 4 years now. The one on the back of the boat came off of my old boat and I have been using it for 26 years now altogether.

WB....as far as the fishfinder goes.....you got all that modern high tech stuff and you only catch one fish and I happen to catch two so there. :p pftttt!
