    Default Some real advice Needed

I am looking for a really good umbrella for the boat. I have young kids and I need to keep the sun off them while trolling and pulling cranks this summer.

Truth is if one of them gets too much sun I will be looking for a new place to live and you do not want to take a chance on me moving into your neighborhood.

Here is the one I am looking at.
Mantis Original Pro Plus - Mantis Catalog

    Anybody got one of these?
Anybody got another one that they really like?
    Anybody had one they hated?
(not talking about ex's let's keep it umbrellas)

    Thanks in advance.

Heck Ray, you can have mine. It's in about 13 foot of water 74' from the main landing at Enid. You'd be surprise how well them dang things will sink. Might want to fish it first before you pull it.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

BTW, that Mantis looks cool, but kind of high. Prolly do just as good witht he seat back model or the floor post model.

I would get a big beach umbrella for $10 at Freds. They are giant. All you have to do is secure it or make a holder for it.

You might look at Sam's. They have a 8 1/2' beech umbrarella for $24.95. I have one but haven't used it yet.

Speck, that looks good but wouldn't it get in the way especially with the rods on the starboard side?
