Well DD, looks like you can give me that $20 sat at the tourney. I'll just bring $30 with me and you can pay the rest for me...

    Default For Billbob

Ross Barnet has 33,000 acres of water to fish PLUS the pearl river feeds into in on the Northeast end. It's always abit dingy since we had muddy bottoms. We're got lots of shorelines with grasses and pads growing. Then you have several miles of RipRap in 4 or 5 locations that all have deeper (10-15foot) water adjacent. STUMPS GALORE on alot of the lake with many just under the surface in certain locations. We have had several 3 pounders caught out of it this past year from what I heard but I ain't seen but 1 with my own eyes. There are however ALOT of 2 pound plus fish in the rez and on a good day if you are ON THEM, you can average 1 3/4 pounds per fish easily with several fish over 2 pounds very common. Lots of old river and creek channels on Barnett, old road beds, even a old sunken Bridge with pilings. They'll stack up just like any other lake and if you're on them, you can flat out wear them out. 30 fish is the limit with no minimum size

beautiful blue.green water in it. Lucious tree's, sprouting blades of saw grass and plenty of old creek channels to fish. OK most
