    Just checked prices and J&H still beats 3 Rivers by 50 buck on the 1179 and the 998.

    Don't make me smack you Creek. I never said they were cheaper, just reasonable and good folks to deal with. Plus they know their stuff when it comes to networking and compatability issues. One thing I really, really like is if you buy from them and want a different transducer, they'll do the swap before shipping. Saves time and $ on shipping back to factory for an exchange. BTW, if you call them for pricing, often they will discount below their posted prices.
