    Good deal G3 can't wait, I have never seen these hi tech in person but I see alot on here love them so I thought about givng them a try and giving mine to dad that way he can do away with those never tight and never locked ones he's got.

    Funny, I just talked to Scott yesterday about building me the same thing. He is on vacation this week and he was going to send me some pictures next week when he got back home. These are perfect. Did he make the bolt's for you as well?

    No, the bolts came off my duck blind brackets for the boat. They came from war eagle.

    OK....This is what some folks to to assure that their rods do not get pulled out of their hiteks....I do not do this....they are not going to come out. They tape a bolt on the handle of their rod and this will lock the rod in the holder. The rod can still be picked up and easily removed from the holder when you catch a fish. I used a larger bolt in my picture than is neccessary but I wanted you to be able to see it good.

    Thanks for the pic G3 if anyone that has these will be fishing the Rez any next week I would love to look at them in person. I'll be n the Rez most the week starting Monday
