    Got my new BPS calender in mail today, could someone explain the diff in the 1197 and 898 units beside the pixel count? Thanks

    Good suggestion maj.. Biggest difference between 7,800 series and 9 and 1100 is sonar speed..

    Also the 97's dont have down imaging..it has to be upgraded to the unit..98's have DI..its just a software upgrade

    Screen size. That's about the only difference your gonna be able to tell in person.

    Also, the 798 uses a compact transducer that is crap compared to the 8s and up.
