Reasoning for Rankin landing is less traffic. When we're trying to load the boats up on the trailers at 1:30 to 2 PM, the pleasure boaters will have all 3 ramps blocked, bigtime. Cock of the walk is where I put in most of the time and this time of year it's pure heck from 11 to about 3 or 3:30. Rankin gets alot less boat traffic and this time of year we have a south wind and this blows out of the ramp at Rankin but straight into the Madison landing
