What lb test line y'all use to pull cranks? I have 6lbs on all my jig and spider rigging poles. What I need to put on my crank rods?

Basically, you're gonna get 2 answers. 10# Mono something or other and 30# braid something or other.

I'm in the mono camp at the moment.

Default He's entitled to his own opinion. LOL

I like the braided line personally. I don't lose to many cranks that way. You WILL get hungup and with braid, you'll get more back. Then if you run across some trash or weeds, you won't notice it as easily if you have Mono on but with Braid, you'll see the line stop twitching from the wobble of the crank. Just my humble opinion

Yeppers...line is just like rod holders, trucks, and a lot of other things....everything has good points and bad points. Ya just got to try different ones and come up with what you like. I bet I have thirty different kinds of line out in my shop right now that I have tried out in the last few years.
