Took boat out from Hurricane Landing went to secret spot...commenced to catching fish left and right for about 1 hr then ....wind got really bad and I had hard time holding pole still...so I just left....gave all fish to partner plum forgot to take pics as it was blowing and sprinkling rain while loading boat up. Ended up with 10 keepers but caught 15.Partner got 12 keepers only one throwback.

Well you did good for a windy day for sure. I gotta warn ya though.....this is a rough bunch and somebody is gonna tell ....no pictures ,it never happened. But anyhow...I think ya done good.

Thanks....it was ruff for sure...I was questioning my sanity when I got to ramp and only one boat had put in , then two more boats came in behind me and made me feel better....so, we got after it...we ended up being the only 4 on the lower ramp.... Sure was nice feeling that thump...man...they was inhaling it when I first got there...I mean hammering my jig...after all them days fishing this year , today was first time they werent just mouthing the jig....I love it when they hit like that! Did break my dipnet and broke the tip off my new ultralight B/M bottom reel rod when fish hammered it and jammed me up between some trees....broke about 2 inches off it....gotta pinch pennies now....get another one...aint gonna be cheap!

You can get replacement upper sections from Grizzly Jig...about 15 bucks. If you only broke off two inches just glue another tip eye on it. I think I have some spare tip eyes...I could put one on for ya if ya want.
