Use the Hi Tec tite locks on the back for cranks and get some Driftmasters for the front. You will like them for ease of adjustment.

I currently have 4 sets of 4
rod holders made by river road aka lake Talquin lodge rod holders as seen on the Ga board. Well I like them but I like the looks of those hitech ones to. Since I'm buying new rig real real soon I was thinking about selling the holders I got and putting the hi tech on it. My question for those of you that have hi tech is how do you like them, and do they work good for pulling? I will be using them for spider rigging and for pulling cranks. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

Based upon the reports and my own personal experience, hi tech will be the last holders you have to buy.
Well, I tried Wallys, then I tried Driftmasters, now I got HiTeks.....I should have got the HiTeks to begin with. I have four sets of them...two on the front and two on the back.

Yep...just loosen a half inch bolt about 3/4 of a turn. When ya want to take it out of the boat...just loosen a half inch bolt and slide the whole thing out of the base. They do not work loose or turn on ya either like the Driftmasters sometimes do. Driftmasters are good no doubt....but I tried them and I like the HiTeks better.

You can get them tight enough to not move on their own and still be able to adjust them without getting the wrench out.
I got 350 heads on a 305 engine.
I get 6 miles to the gallon.
I aint got no good intentions.
Bwahahahaha....this reminds me of the car club guys argueing about Fords and Chevys :D
