    Default Man, that outta grow

some healthy plants there Slabo. Wish we had good soil here. I had 90% clay when I started and been adding different things to it each year., Added SEVERAL bags of playground sand one year, then another year, I bought 2 yards of top soil which wasn't very good come to find out. Then I've added a few other things to it to get vegitative material to it. Steve, ain;t nothing wring with a small garden. Mines only 12x50 so it ain;t nothing big itself. Since I live in a subdivision, I can't have much.

Those are fence post like you buy at Lowes. Those are the U-channel type (cheaper) and I took two of them and overlapped and welded to make them about 7' tall. They work great and I have used the same ones for 10 years or more. What is really nice is they have the little hooks on them so you can use just one length of twine to tie up your tomato's. I take a 10' peice of twine tie a knot in one end and hook it under the bottom hook on the post then just wrap it around the plant and hook it to the pole as you go up it works great! I will post some pictures later when I start tying them up.
