    Here are my first pics with my 998. Don't know what I'm seeing yet but this sure is fun.







    Hasn't helped me catch any fish yet either, but I'm banking that it will.

    I am no genius on this thing but I installed mine a month ago and it has helped a bunch.. Found quite a few stumps and tops that have produced.. Stil could use any tips a professional might have

    BTW is your power cord connection loose?? Mine falls out when running around the lake!!

    I haven't had any problems with mine but you can tighten the connections by bending the tabs on the metal bracket that holds the connectors into the module.

    Hey Maj, I'm still learning with my 998 but I have found that if you cut the side scan distance down to 60 to 80 feet you will get a better image.

    If your power cord is falling out, it sounds like the cable collector insert may have been left out altogether. I don't see how else the power cord could come out.
