that boat is awesome! I had a War Eagle for many years. It was prior to my interest in crappie feeshing. I used it for bass and ducks. Great boat, wish I had never sold it. You will be very pleased.

    interest in crappie feeshing.

Somehow, that doesn't fit my preconceived idea of your profile. Just saying.

    Default Where to put them

I have 2 of the T-5100 Driftmaster to put on the boat for pulling cranks. I am thinking of putting them across the back one on both sides of the motor. I checked they fit perfect. What you guys think? Straight out the back or one down each side?

What you ought to do is give me the driftmasters and in return I will give you 2 maybe 3 extra Titeloc bases so you could just move em from front to back. I'd be willing to sacrafice.

What are you gonna use to pull the cranks with Ray? Big motor or that Terrova? If it's big motor, somebody's gonna have to be at the helm all the time, in which case off the side would be better. If you're gonna be sitting on the back deck using the remote and the Terrova, then out the back would be OK. That's the way Yikes does it. Sat runs the big motor and pulls straight back though by himself some. Seems to work OK for him, but I imagine it's quite a handfull when the wind is going at a good clip when he has to get on the back deck for a fish and the wind is turning him in circles.

Personally, I think I like off the sides. That's my set up now and I've been running the big motor. Got a Power Drive now and I'm gonna give that a shot this summer and still gonna pull 'em from the sides.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Default Man that is nice of you

Minner that is a nice jester but I didn't like how the Titelocs handled cranks.

    Default My issue

Wannabe you described my issue exactly. In the past I pulled them out the side and liked it. But with the Terrova I-pilot I am hoping to go pretty much hands free and just handle the poles.
When pulling the cranks out the back is there an issue with the poles sticking up kind of high as far as getting the depth you want?
