I did too. Thought it was a fish finder of some sort. But then, we all know I'm a woman and I'm sure no one will be surprised that I had such a stupid thought, right? :p

Those are not for seeing in the dark. They are the latest in beer goggles. Now that he's married, he no longer has to have the ladies don these glasses to see his inner beauty. Why the hell else would you spend 3 grand on specialized optics? Pfftt.... A ride I tell ya.

In all seriousness, they do have at least one thing in common with beer goggles. They don't work near as well once the sun comes up the next morning.
