    Yep, I 'member them dang toughskins

    They was this plum unatural shade of blue, and I don't think
    soaking 'em in straight battery acid would have faded them.

    I FINALLY got some hand-me-down Levi's from a neighbor kid, faded out and
    a few of 'em even actually had HOLES in 'em -
    and I was more tickled with them than any clothes I ever got :D

    I remember my Mom would get them out of the washer & put these wire frames down in the legs to streatch them tight while they were drying on the clothes line. Man, hadn't thought about those things in a long long time.
