Notice they didn't say squat about shaking in the definition? Of course not. You know why? Ventilation ain't the problem.
You didn't mention having the motor over trimmed when you took off. Now if you were over trimmed and or, you put the boat in a tight turn while you were taking off, ventilation might be the issue. My boat will do it with either........but the motor doesn't shake.
I'm tellin' ya, check that prop and if the hub looks OK, pull the cowling and at least make sure there aren't any spare parts laying around.

it'll be friday before I get the chance. I'll check it out IF I can figure it out and then put it back together, then hook up the water hose to it and run it abit. It did it when I was trimming it up a good bit. THINK I may have been trimming it to fast out of the hole. It started doing this AFTER I was on about beer number 4 or 5. Figured I'd atleast catch a buzz since I couldn't find the fesh

I've NEVER done anything to a boat motor and all I know how to do it gut gas and oil it it, then crank. Is the cowling a housing or something like that

I always called that the motor cover

Sigh. What are we gonna do with you TT.
If you were trimming it out quick, yep, that's prolly the problem then. Since I know you're gonna come back with some long list of excuses of why you never got around to doin' what I tolt you to do, at least promise me this. As soon as you clear the no wake, but after you're sure the motor is fully warmed, trim down as far as it'll go and drop open the throttle (that's the go go stick located to the right of the steerring wheel, just in case you never heard of throttle) and stay on it without trimming up at all. If it comes to plane and noses over to start pushing a big spray without hiccupping, you're prolly good to go. If it won't, you've got (hopefully) a hub issue, or (hopefully not) something else going on.
But, do me a favor, purty please.....make sure you know how to pull the prop off and put it back on sometime in the very near future. If not for me, do it for Nessa.

BTW, the prop is the shiney thing at the very very back of the boat at the bottom of the big black thing that makes the noise when you mash on the go stick.
The back of the boat is the non-pointy part of your boat.

Don, I am not sure you qualify to own or maybe even ride in a boat if'n you don't know what a cowling is, BUT, then again we also had to explain a kill switch so that may be nuff said...lol
Remember I've only owned a boat for 5 or 6 years, well one with a motor. LOL I do know what a dadgum prop is and purty sure I can figger out how to take it off and put it back on. That is as long as it don't have some kinda spring that'll pop off and nail ya in the eye. New boat was FULLY SERVISED when I bought it. New Water pump, LU oil, things like that so no worries on that. I went out and loked at it right at dark last night and couldn't find anything wrong with the prop. There is no slack in it at all. Pulled, pushed, shook the crap outta it and it appears to be good to go. I'll take the cover (cowling) off the motor friday and see if I can see anything wrong with it. Yeh, like I know what I'm looking at anyways but I'll have a look see non the less. Figure I'll hook up the thingy that you hook to the water hose and crank the motor, thusly checking it out
