sorry i didnt write that its an article ive read.
stripers are from below the upper dam to the first power line i think but mainly right below the dam. and crappie are best in yellow creek. i think there was just a tourney for crappie on pickwick. go to the alabama shoals board and maybe ask around there. ive read reports of people pulling cranks with moderate sucess.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
No crappie in Pickwick on the Alabama side. I would stay in MS...:p
Alot of white crappie which means good for crankbaits. They are biting pretty good right now from what I hear. I need to get down there and do some looking around for October.

We're gonna fish some but really want to just ride around a good bit, checking the lake out. There any sandbars that we might can pull over and have us a picnic? The more secluded the better :D:rolleyes:![]()

There are a few sandbars that I know of but none that are very secluded, carry an anchor.
