Now Pstone, thats just downright mean of ya!
You know good and well I ain't seen so much as a single crappie scale in over a year! From the intel I've gathered, there are a few lakes with crappie in CA, but most are in the extreme south of the state (7 hours or so). A little far to try to go and just figure it out when I don't even have a boat! Thats a problem that will be fixed next time I'm stationed in a good crappie area!

They've gotten REALLY strict on seasons, limits, and permitted waters out here for all types of salmon/steelhead. I know where you are talking about, but not sure if it is even allowed anymore.
The last two years they have completely cancelled the Pacific salmon season because of low estimated populations. That has always been the primary fishery in this area of the central CA coast (along with some ocean striper and some halibut). Its just tough to be a sportsman out here!
navy post your add. on here and we all will send YOU some crappie scales lol
