My Dad is an alcoholic also and he's been sober for 12 years now. He actually called tonight to see if I wanted to go to an eatin' meetin' with him but I had to pass. Last Sat. he had several AA friends come over to his house and he had a fish fry. I went to that and helped him out. I know one thing about AA, a guy can meet some great people that have similar problems and make some excellent friends. When I was growing up, my dad never had friends as good as he's met in AA. Keep up the good work!

Congratulations!! That is great, and I am sure that it's been tough too, especially being located in the Big Easy! I hear ya'll don't even have themometers that go below 50 degrees! :p

I am thankful to have made it through another 24 hours today myself. God willing, I turn 6 on 2/21/06. Today I choose not to drink with you!
