That crap tried to get on my computer one time.
Once I realized I was downloading something I quickly cut my computer off, and rebooted, Ha ! It missed me!

I had that a while back, it blocks access to security websites that would help you get rid of it, it was blocking the AVG, Superantispyware, AdAware, and every website relating to removing it. It also wouldn't let the existing programs upgrade to newer versions to get rid of it.

Anyway, if you still have it, download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Run a full scan and it'll get rid of it.

I have Vexira Antivirus and it did nothing. I downloaded the AVAST and it worked great. Thanks to all who helped. It did take several times of runing it before I completely got rid of it but it worked.

Good to hear you're back up and running. The boot-time scanner Avast has is amazing. My guess is you had a version of the Vundo worm. Usually it is pretty difficult to remove. But it seems you got to it before it replicated and infected everything.
