Don't do flu shots or any other shot for that matter. Had enough of them from 93-97 when I was in the military. Hadn't had a shot since and haven't had the flu either. I'll take my chances and get it fixed if it does come.
Oh, you were talking to old folks weren't you...sorry.

Never had a flu shot, never had the flu.
On a side note, many employers offer flu shots for free to their employees. But read the fine print. A lot of them state that if you refuse the shot and get the flu they won't cover your sick time.
Well my employer, thankfully, hasn't gotten around to state sponsored arm twisting when it comes to shots. Shhhh...don't give em' any ideas. They all looking for the next best thing.

I aint scared of a shot, but I am scared of putting live flu virus right in my veins. I know it's a small percentage that gets the disease from the shot but I seem to be a small percentage kind of guyI have battled the flu a lot in the past but have not had it since becoming an adult. My grandmother says that's because building a natural resistance is nature's way of protecting us from this crap. I hope she's right.
Commercial fishermen help feed the world.
been getting them for 10 years now, this years shot seemed to have bothered me more, been sickly a few times in the last month
just keep your hands clean
I am a firm believer in this, I practice good hygeine but I see people pushing open doors with their elbow because they don't want to touch the door handle, or holding a paper towel when they open the door so not to have contact with it. I believe the immune system is a use it or loose it type deal if you know what I mean, however its been about 43 years since I had a good mud pie![]()
I can only wish to be as good as my dog thinks I am
Firm belief in fables could put you in your grave. The bugs of yesteryear have morphed. The body now has no natural immunity to the superbugs.
Probably due to us over drugging ourselves over the years.
Heed this waring. A pandemic is past due. It is only a matter of time.

Outbreaks of influenza in animals, especially when happening simultaneously with annual outbreaks of seasonal influenza in humans, increase the chances of a pandemic, through the merging of animal and human influenza viruses. During the last few years, the world has faced several threats with pandemic potential, making the occurrence of the next pandemic a matter of time.
I was on the Tn pandemic committee in my other life. It just a matter of time. Bird flu virus will hit in the near future. There is no known cure (antibiotic). Immunization does help to a degree. No BS here.
Kids and older folks are at high risk.
Your choice. I want be able to tell you "I told you so" when it happens.
