    Default Kryptonite

Got one hundred each of three dainty little parts going on the lathe. Well under a half inch in size.
    Material is ninety/ten copper/nickle.
The awfullest stuff I’ve dealt with in thirty-five years of cutting stuff.
If you’re tool isn’t razor sharp, a solid stream of coolant on it, and within a narrow range of speed feed depth of cut - it just won’t behave. It’s near soft, can dent easy with a hammer or cut with a file. But if it’s not cutting exactly right, it’ll start extruding wire instead of making chips. And that wire is work hardened worse than any stainless. I’m hating it worse than the big run of monel I just finished. Turning the od is not completely terrible, but boring small holes is. K, excuse me, I’m gonna go look for some cheese to go with my whine

Sounds like a challenge for sure. Thankfully I have never ran across any of it in my travels
