    Default FYi

USPS is raising stamps 5% from 68 cents to 73 cents effective July 14. Looks like package rates will remain unchanged.

Sadly it won't matter if you buy the stamps now. As soon as the increase takes effect they will make you add a 5 cent stamp with it.

Forevers are good... Forever... and takes 1 stamp to mail a first class letter. But regular stamps with the price on them are just currency for the post office, thats where confusion lies

Correct, if you buy 68 cent stamps before the 14th you won’t have to add addl. postage.

Wrong. 1 oz. mailed envelope remains the same.

I like practicing my handwriting and interacting with my mail person. The increase isn't a deal breaker for me but I will buy a couple extra sheets of the forever stamps.
