And not in a good way. This won’t be a happy post and I’m sorry for that, just need a place to vent my recent frustrations. If not allowed, please remove. Just needed some encouragement maybe… idk.

As a few of you may remember I recently had to dig up my sewer line in the basement and repair it myself as I didn’t have the money to pay a professional. Now thanks to the recent storms we have had in northeastern Kentucky (a disaster zone according to the President) I have a leaking roof. About 2 dozen shingles missing/damaged. Just got word from the insurance after almost 3 weeks that they will only pay half of the nearly $7,000 estimates I’ve been getting.

Today, out of the blue and for no good reason, our refrigerator and freezer stopped working and we lost all our groceries. Luckily I had another working fridge freezer in the basement, but still have to spend almost $300 to replace everything we lost. Plus I lost all my back straps from deer season and my game birds from my recent bird hunting trip.

All this while trying to plan a wedding/honeymoon. Finances are beyond stretched thin and I’m running out of places to pull from. Not sure why but I feel better when I can type all this out. No real point to all this, it just ties back into my recent post on the wake up thread…. Life is a bowl of soup and I am a fork….
