If one was to become feasible within my years left I’ve got to fish I would get one. Several lakes I love to fish are electric only. While I fish them in spring….summer and early fall….I’ve got to get pretty deep in the water to put my boat on the trailer. Part of that is because of the ramp angle and the way my trailer is made. Fishing them in winter is out….not just for me but many others as well. Electric vehicles are here and I am sure someday boat motors will be here also. GM has already announced they will be all electric by 2035. TN just got the factory for building the charging stations that will be installed around the US….30,000 a year. I read somewhere in a couple of years there will be more charging stations than gas stations. Like it or not it’s coming. Sooner or later they’ll get the charging time down to 20 minutes or so and a 500 mile range. Many a day I get off the river at Nickajack and go into Jasper to get something to eat and there is a Tesla charging station there. They can get a 200 mile charge in 20 minutes. I’m sure in a few years you might have the same for boat motors.
