In my search for a bamboo spinning rod

I came across a nice vintage 1950's -60's glass rod with a Tennessee handle. It is supposed to be a Garcia Mitchell Conolon. It has became the home for the little Mitchell 308. You can flat send a bait with it.
Here is a photo I found on the net with the emblem that mine is missing.
