I have seen 2 small personal hovercrafts in that area while fishing. It did not sound like a regular outboard. Could have also been a mud motor. There is a lot of hunting going on in that area. Bow season is open and muzzle loader will be open next weekend. Saw a lot of loaded down jon boats with mud motors going by
