I don't know how many of you folks caught this HBO MiniSeries yesterday. It was a crackerjack. Delved into the campaign and fighting our brave heroes had to endure during that WWII era. Excellent series and well worth your search for. God Bless America!

I have it and Band of Brothers on DVD. While both were wonderful series, I thought The Pacific went overboard to show how terrible the conditions were on many of the islands our troops fought on. Way too many rotting corpses and bathroom holes. Show it occasionally but not constantly. I understand their hardships, just choose not to rub noses in it.
