My wife and I had PPO plan when she stroked some 2 1/2 years ago,,,sure put a damper on things after she became disabled and had to wait 24 months to get har Medicare ,,Been paying Cobra insurance the past year at $800 a month until Medicare kicks in in April of this year,,,Who the heck in the infinite wisdom voted to make someone have to wait 24 months to get their Medicare insurance ,” after” they are deemed disabled?....makes no sense whatsoever....
It drove to pickup my wife’s medication yesterday, only to be told I had a $1,000.00 bottle of Nuedexta which helps with handling my wife’s PBAnsyndrone ,,,this helps with controlling her crying and laughing uncontrollably,,,so now I have to give the insurance company that deductable before she can have a medication we pretty much can’t live without,,,..I just hope they start a program for caretakersnto be allowed to get some insurance at a reduced rate seeing I can no longer ever work again and forced to stay home and care for my new way of life,,,

PPO here. Wife is diabetic and her insulin is high. She had a full shoulder replacement and takes a lot of meds. Have been pretty well pleased with the drug card.
