I really like Todd Huchabee's articles though. He's the one that turned me on to using the 2" Yum Beavertails. I caught some nice fish last year since I started using them.
Maybe it's time for some of the Crappie.com members to start submitting some articles and pictures.

I was trying to set up a trip down there last year, so I called him. Well I've called him a couple other times to shoot the s$^+ and I'll tell you what, that guy will take the time to talk technique and isn't a guy that will keep secrets, he will tell you anything you want to know or wondered about fishing. I talked to him at a tournament on Truman two years ago, and it was more of the same. As far as him killing the fishing in an entire cove, I doubt that very much since euafala is supposed to have the most crappie of any lake in OK. If they went every day for 11 days and kept catching fish every day, what does that tell you?

We should submit some articles, that's a great idea. I can only read that guy's article about trolling, and look at the same setup he's trolling with one more time before I go crazy.

I did not know I had a picture in the last months issue. It's been a few years since I have seen one of my pictures in there. What picture is on the front cover of the issue your talking about?

It's not just Huckabee. It appears that the only people that know how to catch crappie are Capps, Coleman, Driscal, Marshall and few others. I stopped buying Crappie World several years ago and when my subscription to Crappie Angler runs out, I will go back to reading Playboy. Different articles and new faces each month.

I visited with him for over 2 hours just talkin rods and techniques and he's on the crappie game here on Eufaula. I dont envy being in his posistion come early spring...you should see the boats hawking him as he moves from spot to spot, and you cant miss that wrapped boat! I never heard the 11 days of taking fish out of 1 cove? But this is a huge lake and it re-loads so I dont think that's an issue IF it happened. He brings alot of commerce to this region and I'm sure all the small buisinesses and hotels and such appreciate that, plus it puts the focus on crappie fishing. You should see Crowder boat ramp in March/April....looks like a Navy floatilla!!
